Description:

Interest rates rising again, banking costs escalating, and an increased focus on relationship value are all creating new considerations for banks and corporates alike. This fast-paced session will examine how both sides can optimize yield, efficiency, and relationships across domestic and global operations. The discussion will explore how banks can remain competitive in retaining client balances, the roles of ECR and hard interest in supporting those relationships, considerations for notional pooling, and how banks and corporates can remain valuable to the counterparties that matter most.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Explain factors influencing deposit and balance optimization.
  2. Identify considerations for ECR, hard interest, and notional pooling.
  3. Assess strategies for strengthening bank relationships globally.
