Description: Unpredictable times creates multiple challenges for treasury teams. Payments, forecasting, fraud management, analysis, and other challenges occupy our minds for good reason. Criminal activities compound the issue. Escalating compliance requirements, sanctions, and regulations make companies (not just banks) liable for payments to unauthorized or sanctioned parties and fight against our efforts for efficiency. Items are being piled onto our desks faster than we can clear them off. How can we best act?
This session will cover the breadth of issues confronting treasury and payment professionals that expand during unpredictable times and will discuss how we can most appropriately respond to these challenges. We’ll examine leading practices for managing payments, supporting our sanction responsibilities, and controlling the environment of finance.
Learning Objectives:
- Become aware of challenges that confront treasury and payment professionals during unpredictable times
- Learn how to respond to these challenges
- Consider leading practices for managing payments, supporting our sanction responsibilities, and controlling the environment of finance
