The role of accounts payable (AP) is shifting to be more efficient, effective, and strategic. AP has the ability to help drive out costs, improve its scalability, and add revenue to the organization. The effective deployment of AP automation allows for better communication with trading partners and a reduction in costly defects while supporting a revenue/rebate model for payments.
